The best time to visit Uganda is during the dry seasons from June to August and December to February. These periods offer optimal conditions for gorilla trekking and wildlife viewing.

We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance, especially for gorilla trekking permits which are limited. Peak season tours should be booked even earlier.

Required vaccinations include Yellow Fever. Recommended vaccinations include Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, and Tetanus. Please consult your healthcare provider for personalized advice.
