ITINERARY FOR 4 DAY IN LAKE MBURO
Day 1: transfer to lake mburo via Uganda equator
Day 2: morning game drive and boat cruise
Day 3: birding, horse ride and community walk
Day 4: transfer back to Entebbe via CTC for wildlife experience.
DETAILED ITINERARY FOR 4 DAYS LAKE MBURO AND UCC.
Day 1: transfer to lake mburo via Uganda equator: you will wake up in the morning have breakfast and the driver will come for you at the specific meeting point and pick you. Start off your journey to lake mburo national park with the stopover at Uganda equator for equator experience and photos, after proceed to you journey to masaka where you will have another stopover for short calls then embark to your vehicle to lake mburo. Enter through saga gate, check in the lodge that is prepared for you, have lunch and refresh up while enjoy the breath take of lake mburo national park. Evening and night stay.
Day 2: morning game drive and boat cruise: you will wake up in the morning, have breakfast and set off for your morning game drive where by it will be an interesting story to tell. During the game drive, you will get a chance to see animals like buffaloes, giraffes, elands, impala, zebras and so many other wild games in the park. Return back to the lodge for lunch and get ready for afternoon activity , embark to your vehicle set off to the shores of the lake where you will find the boat waiting for you, on your arrival, you will get a short brief about the activity by the boat ride and get a life jacket set , board the boat and set off for the 2 hours interesting journey on lake mburo. During this activity, you will be able to see aquatic animals and birds with other animals on the bank of the lake drinking water. After it will be in the evening, return back to either at the lodge or you remain at the lake shore where there’s a hotel and bar as well jazzing until when its late for you to go at your lodge for night stay.
Day 3: birding, horse ride and community walk: wake up early morning set off for birding in the park. Lake mburo is blessed with a lots of bird species like grey African go away bird, African fish eagle, long tailed Drago and so many other bird’s species mentioned but few after birding, return to the lodge for breakfast and then get back to the vehicle head for horse riding which is also interesting story of getting another experience in the jungle. This activity will be do to search for wild animals you fail to see during game drive which was far distance from you. Enjoy the ride after return back to the lodge for lunch and preparation for another activity of community walk. Immediately after lunch, you will embark to your vehicle again, drive to community for community experience, do some works with the local people after drive back to the lodge for dinner and night stay.
Day 4: transfer back to Entebbe via ctc conservation center for wildlife experience: you will wake up early morning, have your breakfast and check out of the lodge embark to your vehicle drive to UCC for wild cats and other animals experience after proceed on your journey to Entebbe.
