4 Days Kibale national park safari : These 4 days will take you to a beautifully and interesting of Kibale which is best known for variety of resident primates. Kibale national park is recorded to have about 13 primate species and these include the apes (man and chimpanzee) which are the largest population and estimated to be about 1470 species. Kibale forest has both habituated and habituated chimpanzees but by the help of the guide, you will track chimpanzee in Kanyanchu river camp and during track, you will also see other primates and other animals in the park like l`hoests monkeys which are endemic to the Albertine rift valley, red tailed monkey and so many others. Apart from primates, Kibale is also a home for more than 350 bird species and 6 endemic Albertine species whereby you will see them during tracking chimpanzee at kanyancha river camp and bigodi wetland sanctuary on the edge of the park near Kanyanchu.

Day 1: transfer to Kibale national park via Omuti nga nakahima (nakahima tree)
Day 2: chimpanzee tracking and bigodi wetland sanctuary
Day 3: crater lakes and community walk
Day 4: bird watching and transfer back to entebbe.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: transfer to Kibale national park via Omuti nga nakahima (nakahima tree): you will wake up early morning and have your breakfast after you will set off for your safari to Kibale national park with a stopover at Omuti gwa nakahima for cultural experience then proceed to fortportal town for lunch and amabere ga nyina Mwiru covers for also cultural experience then drive to the lodge. On your arrival in Kibale, you will check in the lodge they have booked for you, have dinner and night stay.
Day 2: chimpanzee tracking and bigodi wetland sanctuary: wake up early morning, have breakfast embark to the vehicle drive to the park headquarters for briefing about the activity your about to do. At exactly 8:00am, set off to the forest of Kibale and search for chimpanzee and the track will take about 30 minutes to 5 hours depending on where the chimpanzee spends the night. After return back to the lodge have lunch and refresh up immediately after lunch, embark to your vehicle and set off for bigodi wetland sanctuary, do community walk around the wetland and then return back to the lodge for night stay and dinner.
Day 3: crater lakes walk: wake up in the morning, have breakfast and embark to your vehicle for crater lakes with packet lunch where by you will leave your vehicle in same distance and walk to the crater lakes like lake nyinambuga, lake Nkuruba, lake lyantonde, lake Kyaninga and lake Nyabikere if time allows us after return back to the lodge dinner and night stay. After the hike and visit of these craters, you will return back to the lodge for dinner and night stay
Day 4: transfer back to entebbe: wake up in the morning, have your heavy breakfast, check out of lodge and embark to your vehicle, back to entebbe. On your way to entebbe, you will have a stopover at Luwero and the proceed to entebbe. On your arrival in entebbe, the driver will either drive you to the airport or any hotel depending on your schedule.
